The University of Tennessee offers for sale at auction, approximately 285 used refrigerators. The university has closed these apartments, and the refrigerators are still in the apartments. Refrigerators were not tested, but are the same ones used by previous occupants. These buildings are two-story and accessible only via stairways. No elevators are available! The successful bidder must remove the property from each room. These are approximately 14 cubic feet each, and most, if not all, are frost-free. Auctioned “where-is –as-is” with no guarantee or warranty expressed or implied. Inspection is strongly encouraged. The picture is representative of the type of refrigerators being auctioned. Location: The property is located at The University of Tennessee, Golf Range Apartments, Knoxville, TN, and may be inspected on Wednesday, August 4, and Thursday, August 5, 2010 between the hours of 2:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. No other inspection times will be available, or scheduled. No exceptions! Payment is by cash, cashier check, or certified check, payable to “The University of Tennessee”. Payment must be received no later than 5 business days after the auction ends, and removal of the property must be completed no later than 10 business days after the auction ends. Successful bidder is responsible for all materials, labor, and transport of these items. Other than allowing access to the rooms, university personnel will not assist in removal or loading of the property. |
